Krause Family

One phrase wraps up this session, "Boys will be Boys"! The Krause boys definitly had me moving the entire session. Mom and I both worked up a sweat, but it was all worth it. Tickling, goofy faces, silly sounds and suckers helped to grab these boys' smiles, what we photographers do to get images!
Little Alex was quite the cutie for his solo images. Check out those cheeks and that great big smile of his! I love designing expression panels and I have posted one of Alex's.
Enjoy the images...

Joel & Judith

I had the pleasure of photographing Joel and Judith at their home in Iola. They own a quaint bed and breakfast which served as a great background on some of their images. I also got to meet their sweet dog and being a dog fan, I just had to include him in on a few shots. Joel proved that you can still feel young and have fun when you own a convertible. Joel and Judith were so adorable and sweet, it was like photographing two teenagers in love! Even though it was a grey, overcast day we were able to sneak in some images down by the lake. What a great setting and background. These images are some of my favorites of the two of them. Thanks Joel and Judith for showing me that two people can still feel young and in love after 30+ years of marriage!

Fall

I typically photograph portraits but there are times I do like to step out of my comfort zone and shoot scenics and anything else mother nature throws my way. Its great to just jump in the car with the camera and head out on a road trip, especially in the fall. Here are a few Fall images...

Okay so I just had to include a few portraits. Here are a few of my favorite Fall Images. My son Max the little lion who liked to blow bubbles rather than roar!

This is my beautiful and very photogenic dog Jersey. See I do love to photograph anything that has two legs or four!!

Maxwell

It has been some time now since I have posted images of my little guy. I am so blessed to have a such a cute little model. He is already quite patient with his mom, considering I am always with camera in hand! Here are some of his images from his 3 month session.

I have to admit, I tend to love the images of serious, soft expressions. Max has a serious side of him (gets it from his dad) and he definitly knows how to work the camera as you can tell by these images.

The Teddy Bear images are part of series that I am doing for each month of Max's first year. I just love his expressions!

I wanted to end with one my favorites from the sesion. Sometimes if you wait just long enough and let your subject be, a photographer can capture some wonderful candids. Images like this are just one of the many reasons why I love what I do!
