Carson & Callie - 3 Months

For those of you who are frequent followers you may recognize these two cuties as they have appeared on my blog before. The last time I photographed these beautiful babies they were newborns and now here they are 3 months old! Time sure goes by quickly when you have little ones, I am realizing that more and more with my very own little guy.
I truely enjoy photographing babies and twins are double the fun. I love when I have clients that bring in their babies for mulitple sessions, especially thoughout the first year. Its great to see how their features change and how they grow into their personalties. Carson and Callie were such a joy to photograph. I look forward to many more sessions of these two and watching them grow.
Enjoy a sneak peek from their three month session...

Bryce

This little guy might look familiar to some of you who are regular followers of my blog. I photographed Bryce and his family back in October. Bryce came to visit me this time to celebrate his second birthday. I have been blessed to photograph this little boy since the day of his birth and I can't imagine missing out on his milestones, especially birthdays! Bryce has this contagious smile and laugh, which makes photographing him so much fun. We definitely had some fun during his session, check out his expression panel...its adorable! Last year we had fun digging into birthday cake and this year we had some fun with finger paints. I love nothing more than capturing the fun candid moments in a session and this session is proof of that!

Happy Birthday Bryce, can't wait until next year's birthday!

Buchholz Family

Its always great to get families together for photos, especially when its been 10 years since the last one! That was just the case for the Buchholz family. Hard to believe I was just a photographer's assistant at the studio where the family had their photos taken back then. 10 years later, no longer the assistant but the photographer for their session. Since then, hair styles have changed, kids have grown and they have added to the family! I have to say that the family did a great job coordinating, its tough when you have that many individuals. Despite cold weather and a tight location I was able to photograph the family at my home, outdoors as well as in. Here is just a sampling of some of the images from the session. Hopefully it won't be another 10 years before I see the Buchholz family again!

Max

I couldn't help but blog a few images I did of my son Max. These are some of the images I captured for our Christmas card. They are just so darn cute that I thought I would share a few. Its wonderful to have my very own little model and guinea pig, especially when it comes to my crazy ideas. Everyone always says that Max must just love having his picture taken, to be honest, if I can get 15 minutes out of him I consider myself very lucky. Enjoy...

As I said before, if I get 15 minutes I'm lucky...well it was nap time and Max had enough. To my advantage though, these next images are my favorite, they are priceless!

So, I do get some crazy ideas and yes once in a while my husbands allows me to follow them. With the help of dad and of course Max I was able to capture this adorable shot. This little snowman melts my heart!
